Choir Biography
Protegé is an auditioned treble show choir open to 9-12 grade students at Kennedy High School. The show choir ensemble consists of 51 singers, 15 instrumentalists, and 10 crew members. This year’s show theme is Dream with Open Eyes. Protegé invites you into the space between sleep and awake, where dreams blur with reality. This show explores what happens when we dare to live in the dream with eyes wide open. As the alarm clock ticks toward morning, one final surge reminds us that the boldest dreams don’t end at dawn… they begin there.
Protegé is choreographed by LD Kidd. Music arrangements by Marty Hearne and Anita Cracauer and is directed by Ann Brunson. Protegé wishes everyone good luck this season.
